When is the best time to schedule my Maternity Session?
We recommend scheduling your maternity session between 26-32 weeks. This is when your belly is beautifully rounded but before you become too uncomfortable. However, sessions can be done at any time before birth. Booking early ensures you get your preferred date.
What styles can I choose for my Maternity Session?
We offer a range of styles for maternity sessions to match your personal vision:
Nude: Celebrate the natural beauty of pregnancy with tasteful, elegant nude portraits. Glamour: Sophisticated and stylish, perfect for those looking to create high-fashion, magazine-style images. Modern: Sleek and contemporary looks with minimalist design and clean lines. Timeless: Classic, elegant portraits that never go out of style, focused on simplicity and beauty.
What if I am late for my photoshoot?
We allow a 15-minute grace period. If you are 30 minutes late but would still like to continue the session, there will be an additional $150 fee, payable on the same day. If you are more than 40 minutes late, we reserve the right to cancel the session without a refund. To avoid delays, especially when bringing small children, we recommend allowing extra time in the morning to prepare and accounting for potential traffic by planning an additional 30 minutes.
What dress options for Maternity Sessions do you offer?
We offer a variety of dress options to help you look and feel your best:
Luxury Dress Rentals: $150
These premium gowns are perfect for creating a sophisticated, elegant look in your maternity photos. Our collection includes various colors, styles, and fabrics to suit your vision. Adult Dresses: $100

For family shots, we provide adorable outfits for babies and children that coordinate beautifully with your session’s overall theme.
Can I get my makeup and hair done before the session?
Yes, we offer professional makeup and hairstyling services for $350. This ensures you look and feel your best throughout your maternity session.
Can you travel to a location of our choice?
Yes! We offer travel to your chosen location within the DMV area for $500. This allows you to have your maternity session in a setting that holds personal significance or offers a beautiful backdrop.
How long does it take to receive the images?
A gallery of color-corrected images, as well as edited photos, will be available within 3-5 business days. The number of photos depends on the package you choose.
What should I wear for the Maternity Session?
To ensure a comfortable and smooth session, avoid tight underwear or tights that can leave marks on your skin. We recommend wearing a robe or loose-fitting shirt that can easily be unzipped or changed during the photoshoot and makeup process. You should also bring a neutral strapless bra and strapless underwear to ensure smooth transitions during outfit changes and maintain comfort throughout the session.
What is your editing process?
As part of our maternity session editing, we focus on enhancing the final images by reducing swelling, smoothing skin tones, and refining the overall image quality. We carefully hand edit each image to ensure that you look your best while keeping the photos natural and authentic.
What about prints and albums?
We offer high-quality prints and albums to preserve your maternity portraits:
12x12 album with 10 edited images (album only): $1000 16x24 print (canvas, acrylic, or metal): $800
Are photos and videos on my phone allowed?
If you wish to take photos or videos with your phone during the session, the photographer will grant you the time and space to capture your own images. However, the professional session will immediately stop, and no refund will be provided. Please note that this ensures the integrity and quality of the professional experience we offer.
